I’ve been writing a daily story on Twitter using prompts from @vssdaily. Since 15 May 2022, I’ve written 79 very short stories.
My goal for July is to finish a revision of my novel, but I’m easily distracted by little story ideas. This one is featured today on Paragraph Planet. The first line is the title.
Nanoism is a twitterzine, an online publication for Twitter fiction: stories with a maximum of 140 characters (conforming to the original inherent limitations of the Twitter service).
My nanofiction compressed a longer piece, first written during an afternoon of creativity at my house with my dear friends Gillian and Michelle.
I created my Twitter profile to enter a competition run by Ben Warden as @FlashSerious. I entered two Twitter-length stories with the hashtag #SFFiction and was over the moon when I was announced as one of the winners on 25 April 2022.
